Transportation: By car, take road 555 from Bergen city centre over Puddefjordbroen bridge towards Sotra and then take the 562 towards Askøy. After crossing Askøybroen bridge follow road 562 towards Herdla and after passing Herdlabroen bridge drive a couple of hundred metres past Herdla Gård for the gate to Laxeneset.
By plane, take the airport bus to Bergen bus station in the city centre and change for the bus to Herdla. Busses run regularly between the bus station and Herdla and the journey takes just over an hour.
